The<internal-portgroup-vc-moref-id>isthemanagedobjectreferenceofanetworkordvPortGroup.

ForthespecifiedvShieldEdge,itshowscapabilityfortheVPN,loadbalancer,NAT,firewall,DHCP,andstatic
routing.ItalsoshowsthedvPortGroup’sID,Edgeversionnumber,andcompatibilitymode.

ThevShield4.1RESTcalls(APIversion1.0)workwhenvShield5.0(API2.0)isinbackwardcompatibility
mode.Inregularmode,afteryouenableAPI2.0,theRESTcallsarenotbackwardcompatible.Note:
ClientscancontinuetouseREST1.0ontheiralreadyinstalledEdges.NewEdgescanbealsobeinstalled
anduseREST1.0,howevernewfeaturesarenotavailablewithoutusingtheREST2.0API.
Tousenewfeaturesexposedinversion2.0oftheRESTAPI,youmustupgradethevShieldEdge(see
“RequestSyncorUpgrade”onpage 50)andswitchtothenewAPIversion(seeExample 5‐4below).
Oncetheswitchismade,youcannotdowngradeto(revertto)version1.0oftheRESTAPI.
ThiscallshowninExample 5‐4switchestheRESTmodetolatest,soREST1.0cannolongeradministerthe
vShieldEdgeassociatedwith<internal-portgroup-vc-moref-id>.Thecompatibilitymodeswitchesfrom
backwardcompatibilitytoregular.
