page.Tomaximizesecurityandminimizetheriskofimpactonthemanagednetwork,onlyadminuserscontrol
thesetupandschedulingofdetaildiscoverypolicies.
DetailDiscoverypoliciesdescribeaquerythatruns
periodicallytocollectnetworkinformation.Eachpolicy
definesthefollowingparameters:
Theprotocoltouse(SNMP,SSH,Telnet,WMI,orVI‐SDK),aswellastheauthenticationparameters
requiredforthespecifiedprotocol
